What is Rape?

Rape is a form of sexual assault. It is when someone is forced against their will to have sexual intercourse. This can happen to anyone, by anyone, at anytime, and at anyplace.

Rape Culture

Rape culture is the prevalence of rape and the normality of sexual abuse against women in an environment that is justified by media and popular culture. This kind of behavior is prolonged by the use of misogynistic language (such as the commonly used terms "B****" & "Ho"), objectifiying women's bodies, and glorifying sexual violence. Women no longer feel respected and protected. Oddly enough, some people feel as if rape culture is a myth. Find more information here.
